Hello everyone!

Wow... its been so long since I've been on here. School trips at the end of school, studying for exams, trips, etc. really bogged me down, and unfortunately the blogs are what I lost for a little while. Right after I got out of school I went to Europe for 2.5 weeks with my choir (which I've mentioned in previous blogs), where we sang in Dvorak Hall, the Golden Hall, on the top of the Alps (Hitler's Eagle's Nest), 12th century churches, and, of course, airports. All in all it was an amazing trip, but needless to say I didn't really get to get on to a computer, much less here.

Anywho, the entire time I was there I was watching for Star Wars stuff to buy (obviously), and I didn't see anything anywhere. Over a week in the Czech Republic - nothing. Several days in Austria - nothing. Then, finally, in my last stop in Germany (Ulm), we went into a big-box store named "Muller", and I found some english bobble-heads. I was really hoping for some authentic German stuff, but I just couldn't find any... so I settled for Vader, Jawa, and Yoda bobbleheads. So now those are my second international items! My first was a comic book from France, which my friend brought back from a three month trip... I can only hope that my "international" section will continue to grow over the next few years!

And on a more "local" level, I bought two SW t-shirts from swshop.com and they arrived while I was away... the "Solution to Everything" Hyperspace one, and the Ahsoka CW one. Also, I just ordered the Ultimate Collectors Edition Star Destroyer LEGO set a little while ago, and it should arrive, at the earliest, tomorrow (although I highly doubt that it will arrive on the earliest possible arrival date). I'm so excited to start building this 1 metre plus set, but I'm wondering... who has it here? I read on the LEGO website that the front end has the tendancy to bend over, but some others said absolutely not... has anyone had this problem? And if so, what did you do to fix it? Any help would be appreciated.

And it's really cool that its arrival is most probably going to coincide with the arrival of another great Star Wars event... THE CLONE WARS!! Needless to say its going to be a really fantastic week for me. I'm definitely planning to go see CW at midnight (dragging my reluctant Dad behind me) and then come home and work furiously on my new set (or vice versa... or the film could even be sandwiched between two building sessions!

Well, that's pretty much whats been happening for me collecting-wise for the last little while, and I'm pretty freakin exciting for the upcoming two weeks.
