For the Remnant... errr Empire
So here is my first real entry. While it's also starts with the jedipedia, it deals with the Empire as i promised to talk about in this blog.

And again it's one of those days where you know just a buch of stupid edits will go throu the encyclopedia. Before I went to the university i checked the latest edits and again I came across one that added to the affiliation of Admiral Pellaeon "Imperial Remnant". While he still is part of the Empire, or even Galactic Empire he seams to be also searving a new statebody called "Remnant". That both are infact the same nobody seams to care, et least the user who made this edit did not. In the last month I had convinced many other users who made those kind of edits, but he seams to be some kind of resistent.

But why peolpe do such kind of things? First all the new books just talk about the Remant, because their main perspective they where writen is one of the New Republic and later the Galactic Alliance. And this people call the Empire a Remnant, while the imperials them selfe just call it still the Empire. I have not found any passage that an Imperial talking about him selfe of beeing part of the "Imperial Remnant". So the Empire did not change his name throughout the history. So it's all some kind of nickname of this rebell scumm. This reminds me of Iran. The Iran renamed itselfe in the 1930's from Persia to Iran. But countries like the UK refused to name it like that, so you can find maps of that era who still call it Persia. This case is in a way similar.

And this brings me back to the case that Pellaeon is, as some people think, part of the Empire and the "Imperial Remnant", which is ridiculous. It's like when you say "Oh he first worked for McDonald's and now he is working for McCafé." oO. I wish there would be some kind of clerification in one of the next novels like two Imperials talking and one mention the "Imperial Remnant" and the other one would reply:

"A 'remnant'? We are not a 'remnant'! We are THE EMPIRE!"

Man, I would love that.
