Well today I came along the so called Chronicles of the Old Republic fanproject. It's a project which has the goal to create some fanfiction stories at the time of the Old Republic and the Mandalorian Wars. But this project is not that kind of generic-fanfiction-story-project. The PDF you can download contains more than 90 pages and have an fully designed cover, which is based on the new novel covers (LotF). It contains drawings and is even avaiable as an audiobook. The audiobook has even a unique soundtrack included made by the members of the project themselve.

Well it's a german fanproject so you probably will not be able to read them, but it's nice to see that even the german community can provied fanfiction on a professional level which is in fact astonishing. This makes hope that one day LucasLicencing will grant non-US authers someday to write SW-novels (ok I know Karen Traviss is from the UK), because there is much potential even outside the States
