Not relevant for Wikipedia
Well, working for the secound biggest inofficial Star Warspedia can sometimes be very painful. Besides vandalism and idiocy, there is some kind of lack of public notice. One thing would be an entry in the german Wikipedia (especially because our "big brother" Wookieepedia has his own entry). So some months ago they startet an attempt to make an article for our encyclopedia. Before our attempt some kiddies tried it seven times befor, but the articel had... well lets say not that much of quality and quantitiy.

So the real attempt by our main Admin was requestet for delete, because it was a "Wiedergänger" (seven articles with the same lemma where deleted before). After some kilobytes of discussion, they said our Pedia hasn't that much of relevance. Well, we tried everything. Listing of blog entries, websites, newspapers and even an scientific text which mentioned the Jedipeda to show them, that there is some kind of relevance. We even showed them a part of an german TV-show which describes the jedipedia briefly as one of their webtipps. But no, Jedipedia is not relevant. Even thou we had our own stand at the Jed-Con 2008, and it's likely that we get one at the Jed-Con 2010. Up to this date the Wikipedia just have an weblink in their Wookieepedia article about us. Beside that, we are not allowed and a new article about our Encyclopedia will not have much of a chance, I think.

Well, lack of public notice can be painfull...
