 | Clone Wars Unfounded Rumor #1 - By Dark Moose |
By now, we have all hopefully seen the announcement and related tasty video hor'orderves regarding the newest Star Wars feature film coming in August, and the upcoming 30 minute animated series.
So far so good. New characters, new worlds, new plots, new ships, old pals collide in a free-for-all force bash you won't want to miss. Fun for the whole family, bring the pets, yada yada so on and so forth.
Let's just skip into the good stuff already. Let's start wildly speculating.
I would like to be among the first to float out one of those completely baseless, entirely imaginary, absolutely fabricated theories/rumors, produced lovingly from some such orifice on aforementioned woodland creature.
Ready?
This chick?
Is this chick.
Whoah whoah, dood. What's up with the questions? What are you asking me "How??" for? That's not how this game is played. I say something tacitly plausible but utterly unfounded in reason, and you're supposed to come up with some way to keep discussing it ad infinitum, hopefully brewing a nice little flamefest along the way as folks dive into a good vs. evil battle about if my theory is nonsense or not.
So stop with the "How??" nonsense.
Discuss or discuss not. There is no "How??"
or not :0)

I have a theory that covers all of this..it involves a flux capacitor, Luke's landspeeder and the Lybians...

This is almost as crazy as the theory that suggests Mace Windu is secretly a Sith Lord I heard a while back before RotS came out. But this connection of yours... interesting theory, but how... oh yeah. Keep discussing it ad infinitum and all that. Well, I guess it's technically possible. No, wait... it's not. Aren't those two characters going to be in the same movie/TV series? Ah well... this EU stuff always confuses me
I'm sorry, I can't get beyond the idea of Anakin with a Padawan.... that's like a 12 year-old being a mother....
He's so messed up himself, I can hardly imagine what he'd do to a Padawan.

Crazy? Crazy??
Was Columbus "crazy" when he discovered the moon?
Was Galileo "crazy" when he built the pyrimids?? Huh??
Was President Einstein "CRAZY" when he wrote the Declaration of Constitution?
Was it "CRAZY" when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor??
I think not. And as mentioned numerous times before, I think not a lot.
Crazy? Am I? Think about it...
Ok think about it some more....

Heck no!
Interesting idea. Although right now I'm 99% that it isn't true, there's always that chance. Plus, you'll be praised as a hero if you guessed it right.

They are entirely different species. Unless they possessed each others bodies and that would cause some serious confusion we dont need.

Wow, the Stooge bought into the theorey. Does that mean it's canon now?
Anyways, this has sparked a surprising amount of conversation. Here's an idea for you, Dark Moose, just keep repeating the fact and people will eventually accept it as a fact. It's worth a try.
As for my stance on it... hey, if President Einstein wasn't crazy, then this is perfectly possible.

But I ask you, is anyone ever really from Rattataki? It's sort of like Phoenix. Or playing for the Texas Rangers.

It means it may have a high degree of factiness. I can neither confirm nor deny the level of truthyness. Or truthiness.
I say go with your gut, and ask yourself: "Would the Stooge lie to me? Has he ever lied to me? Does the Stooge hate me?" If the answer is no, then there you go.

Of course Ahsoka is really Asajj! They both are girls, the both have lightsabers, and they both have names that start with an "A." Everyone knows aliases that are similar to your real name are easier to remember. The only thing about her that hasn't been revealed yet is that Kitster is her brother...
(If you didn't get that reference, you need to listen to The Force-Cast.)

I am sorry my friend, but this has already been disproven in the comic book, Republic Issue # 60, http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars_Republic_60:_Hate_and_Fear
Not only is Anakin's padawan a Togruta, but Asajj is at least 5 years Anakin's senior. Anakin's padawan looks to be in her teens during the clone wars, while Anakin is at least twenty.
(and yes, my friend, Republic is officially cannon)

There's that "How" talk we were talking about...
Isn't it just possible that Star Wars Republic 60: Hate and Fear was secretly written by Trekkies as misinformation propaganda? Hmm?
Anyway, next you'll be telling me DungeonMasters has no levels and there's no such thing as a 14-sided di.
Beware Trekkie propaganda, folks. They eat babies.

It's all a disguise, people. Asajj may be older than Anakin, but that doesn't mean she can't look younger. Plastic surgery, and maybe even a cybernetic replacement or two, and she's good to go. Maybe she's even installed a secret weapon or two in those Togruta horns of hers...

As Palpatine so eloquently put it, " the Dark Side of the Force can be a pathway to many abilities some would consider to be unnatural." And what better way to destroy the Jedi than from within. As Yoda put it, "lies and deceit are his ways now."
I would like to file this all under INCONTROVERTIBLE TRUTH.
