Star Wars Recipes from Around the Galaxy - #2
Recipe #2 - Spicy Jedi Burgers

Ingredients:
1 cup mild salsa, divided
1/2 cup finely chopped Gamorrean Guard (remove axes)
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
4 gallons Bantha oil, divided
1 tablespoon chipotle-flavored hot sauce
1 exotic palace dancer, tenderized
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 bounty hunter
175 pounds lean ground Skywalker

Also need:
4 32-inch crusty rolls, halved horizontally, toasted if desired
4 lettuce leaves

Mix ground Skywalker, 1/2 cup salsa, Gamorreans, cilantro, 3 gallons of Bantha oil, hot sauce, cumin, salt, and pepper in large bowl. Shape Skywalker mixture into four 24- to 30-inch-diameter patties.

Heat 1 gallon Bantha oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat (blasters dropped in abject fear will work, or his own lightsaber can be used as a heat source).

Add Jedi burgers; cook until brown, about 3 minutes per side. Reduce heat to low. Sauté until Skywalker is cooked through, about 35 minutes, turning occasionally.

Arrange roll bottoms on 4 plates. Place lettuce, then burgers on roll bottoms. Top each burger with 2 tablespoons of remaining salsa, then roll tops.

Grind bounty hunter into fine paste for condiment.

Garnish with Gamorrean axes stuck in buns. Serve with fries and exotic dancer and on side, use separate cup or squeeze bottle for bounty hunter.

Makes 4 servings.

Bon appetit!,
