 | Blog Harder, Faster, Longer. Blog Like the Wind. |
I recently found a most interesting Internet experiment in which the goal is to collect all the very best blogs into one big melting pot of self-importance. I give you the Pajamas Media project.
Granted, there aren't a lot of Star Wars entries being touted as the finest that blogdom has to offer. But I think we can change this if we just put our antlers to the grindstone. So let's get to work. I've compiled a wishlist of sorts...
1) Definitely need more theories about Plagueis being related to most everyone from Han Solo to Lobot.
2) I have not yet had my fill of permutations of how the Force is Balanced using various counterweights including, but not limited to, Sith, Jedi, little green dudes, Skywalkers, emperors, Gungans, Death Stars, and misinterpreted George quotes.
3) My day is not complete without at least reading a daily wishlist for Episode VII, VIII, and IX. I'd really love to see more on that way cool website that has the entire plot and scripts.
4) The most important thing we have to do, each and every day, is run through the entire NCAA-style competition bracket to pit every single character against one another in a lighstaber duel, and try to guess the winner. I have yet to see the results of Chewbacca vs. Yaddle, and you'd just think we would have hashed that one out by now.
5) For the last damn time, who the hell is Sifo-Dyas? I want mug shots, I want DNA tests, I want elaborate diagrams with circles and arrows, I want grassy knoll Warren Commision theories, I want gloves that don't fit, things that go bump in the night, dental records, compromising photos with battle droids, and unnamed sources, and I want 'em on my desk yesterday, dammit. And get me a sammich and some Doritos while you're at it, by cracky.
6) This brings up an important point - lately we've been slacking off in the Absolutely Whacked Theories department. "AWT" is an important part of the Star Wars fanboy experience, and it just seems that since ROTS came out, people just don't show the same level of creativity and care when it comes to conjuring absolutely insane conclusions about various cast members.
7) I really miss the old days when people would completely re-work the cast and plots of the movies on the premise that George Lucas doesn't know what he's doing. I myself had a wonderful idea about Christopher Walken cast as the lead in a madcap dance-musical plot for Episode III, Revenge of the Jazz Hands.
8) There simply aren't enough discoveries of catastrophic plot holes. I'm a little worried that I can make it through all six films and they still make perfect sense to me.
9) Jar Jar Binks is the subject of eternal controversy, and yet I never see a single entry about him.
10) We need more blogs that are actually snarky lists. All of them should be in the standard David Lettermen "Top 10" format to promote maximum enjoyment. Embittered Bloggery is a treasure.
11) This, however, is not one of those blogs.
DM out
PS-
or not.
:0) <-- obligatory smiley to let you know I still love you, dear reader.

Hey! Not too long ago I wrote a rather in-depth blog on how Yoda is actually a really old human- I've filled my AWT quota for this year!
Due to the whole Role-palying scandal of '05, I've decided to out you, Moose. We all know you're not really a moose, and I have these photos to prove it...................
*Moose- with human children*
*Moose-in Santa suit at Christmas*
*Moose-prosthetic antlers*
We'll talk about payment later.................

I promise I will not stop 'trying' until I've had my day in the 'two-suns' or I make yours or Karen Traviss' blog roll. How's that? I have a good one for tomorrow too. (Of course, 'good' is a point of view.) Ha!

Wow, finally we have a mod who, and excuse the manner in which I put this out there, shows the cajones, to deal with stupid blog entries. I didn't think it would ever happen.
It will be funny to see how many people actually blog about one of those topics in the next two hours. Probably more than you'd think...
No offense to the other mods, if you guys weren't allowed to blog about it up until now.

Blast, I think several of my Blogs only make it into the "Whacked Theories department" rather than the "Absolutely Whacked Theories department"... I'll get to work on that now...
I'm pretty sure Lobot was Darth Maul after getting a cybernetic replacement for his legs and removing his tatoos! (And the cybernetic headpiece was to cover up a botched horn removal of course: Compeleting the AWT)

Thank you. I am getting sick of all of the people complaining about "George should have done this and that" I don't see those people making there own movies... And some things, like Darth Plagueis, are never meant to be answered. And as far as AWTs go, did you hear the one about the vision of Vader in the cave is actually one of seven Vaders in the galaxy?

As far as AWT theories go, that would make a great board thread, I might make that one, if it isn't already done.
I am currently working on a theory that Plagueis is actually those little droids that roll all around the Death Star, you know, the tiny black ones.

High-five! Seriously, some nimrods ought to be denied blogging privileges, or at least have wildly innacurate blogs be censored for idiocy. It's really annoying to have to wade through the junk to find good ones.

This is why my Blogs are starting to become less and less frequent. I'm having more and more trouble thinking of original ideas, or at least if they're not original, then at least ideas with a different spin to them. And as a result, I feel as though my writing is getting stale. Even my grammar seems poor. Perhaps it's just a form of writer's block.

Plot holes? Hmmm, I haven't seen a thing on this website or any blogs about that......
Good work DM. Who knows, I might be guilty of some of the tansactions listed above, but what can I say? I'm doing a little better each time.
Having problems with your blogs?
No, no problems, why?
Happy blogging and keep the peace my friends.
