 | Did anyone else notice this? |
So I was watching the original trilogy (for about the millionth time) and I was on Ep VI...now this is the DVD version that has Hayden Christensen at the end. So the credits are rolling on...and what do I see? They listed Sebastian Shaw as Anakin Skywalker, not Hayden Christensen. You'd think George would have changed that, right??

I noticed this. And with all the attention payed to putting Hayden in VI you would think they would notice the sub-par lightsabers.

I thought adding Hayden in was a strange move, and not mentioning him in the credits adds to my confsion of why Lucas did it!
To me it seems like he did it just for the fans of the prequel, but that's just one fan's opinion.

It's called an unbilled cameo. Whoopi Goldberg had an extended one in Star Trek: Generations. So did Richard Dreyfuss in The American President. If you look at the credits for The Empire Strikes Back on DVD, you won't see Temura Morisson listed as the voice of Baba Fett either, for the same reason.

Looks like its been covered already as to WHY SS is still listed and Hayden is not...
Im still torn on the whole "young Anakin ghost" as opposed to "old Anakin ghost" but I suppose its because Im so used to the original version...

I really think SS was left in the credits as a sign of respect since he has now 'joined the force' so to speak.

Well, SS did play the unmasked Vader...
Yeah, that is a good point.

Sorry, I meant "Boba Fett", not "Baba Fett".
I kind of like Baba...Sounds funny.
Yes, I too noticed that Hayden was unaccredited. Who cares...I'm glad to see his gorgeous face at the end.

yeah, just like what they did with the lightsabers in IV... in the duel between Obi- Wan and Vader, Obi- Wan's lightsaber goes PURPLE for a split second, Luke's goes green on the Falcon, and Vader's goes pink with the duel with Obi- Wan too...
