Star Wars...just a little, only a lot...and then some. Times 2!

I...am a Star Wars geek
So I am a Star Wars geek. Everyone I know knows this fact. Random strangers somehow know. It's like we give off some essence of Star Wars. And I'm finally getting my first SW tattoo. Rebel Insignia, blue, on my lower neck. And don't worry...I'm going to the best place I've heard of to get this done. The guy who's doing this tattoo has done a bunch of my friends tattoos, which are amazing. So I'm not worried. He's a SW fan too, he knew it was SW when I emailed him the picture.

So this past weekend I've come to realize something. Star Wars is not my one and only obsession and love. My other obsession: Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This past week (spring break) one of my friends came to visit and we watched Buffy. And it's been playing since about Wednesday. I've even gotten one of my friends hooked onto it. While I don't have the memorabilia for BtVS, I still find myself uber-obsessed with it. While I'm not totally up on all seasons, I do own 4 of the 7 seasons and can answer any and every question about the first 3 seasons.

The one difference between these two obsessions: I have friends here at school who share this obsession. SW...not so much. But I love SW enough for all of my friends.

So I've noticed a trend in my blogs...most of them aren't really SW related. But then again, there hasn't been much SW stuff happening lately. I wish there was. Oh well...it'll happen. And I've decided that on the 30th anniversary of SW, I'm watching all 6 movies on the big screen where I work since I can't go to C IV.

How are you going to watch them at work, show it in a conference room with a projector? That sounds like a good idea, depending on where you plan to watch.

Bummer that you can't go to CIV.

Sometimes ya just need a place to write in order to start writin'... maybe that's why you're writing about stuff other than SW! Either way, don't sweat it. ;)

We too ar Buffy fans. We own seasons 1 through 3 and have seen most of four. But once we got stationed in Okanawa we missed out on the rest. We also enjoy Angel, yet do not own any of the seasons.
And even though you haven't written much related to SW, the great thing about this site is that's ok. Keep blogging the way you do.

I'm with you on that most of my friends don't understand my obsession with star wars, some make fun, but it doesn't bother me, my reply is always "hey it could be worse, I could be a trekkie!!!" Haha

Sounds like you're doing ok with your 2 obsessions! ;) I'm glad you've got friends for the Buffy one. Sometimes that helps a great deal! :)

If you like Buffy, I urge you to check out Firefly, if you haven't already. It was made by the same creator, Joss Whedon.:D

Yay for obsessions ;) I'm glad to hear you have friends who are as obsessed about Buffy as you are. As HG3 said, sometimes that really helps :D
