No, I'm not boasting here, but I am kind of busting at the seams with glee!

I am participating in Empire Magazine's http://www.empireonline.com Star Wars Challenge, the final of which will be held live at Celebration Europe.

The qualifying rounds are played live online - last week (June 11) the Empire servers practically exploded when too many people logged in onto the quiz, and so the results of that first round - about the prequels - don't count for the final result. I ended in fifth place there, of which I was pretty proud.

Well now....yesterday was the second round, about the Classics. The top-5 scorers of the second and third round will go to the live final. And guess what? I ended in first place, being the only one who had all 30 questions correct! I am still laughing in disbelief and staring at the scores: http://www.empireonline.com/starwars/round2/. I honestly didn't prepare - I guess Star Wars has just permanently nestled itself in my brain!

Maybe I was lucky. But then again: there is no such thing as luck.
