He's alright. I don't like how he got neutered for Revenge of the Sith. He seemed much more dangerous in the Clone Wars cartoon.

I agree. In the Clone Wars cartoon he was a maniac Jedi killer, but the movie almost turned him into a coward. The book made him viscious, slamming Nemoidians head against computer panels.

Grievous is a pretty cool character. Not so much in the movie, but in the Labyrinth of Evil or Revenge of the Sith novels. There are several extra parts in the books that describe how he became cybernetic, where he came from, a couple extra duels with Jedi and such.

He's not my favorite, but he has some good qualities.

Hm, we need more Grievous-from-the-movie fans around here! I saw him in the Clone Wars cartoons, and I also read the RotS novel, and while he was pretty cool in them, I still prefer his movie version. Sure, he comes off as kinda cowardly, but I think he's a better character like that. I'm also a big fan of his duel with Obi-Wan, while I've heard that others felt disappointed with it, so maybe it's just me.

He rocks.

I liked him in the film. I had really hadn't watched much of the cartoon, but to be honest, I didn't even think that it was the same character until after the fact. Grevious in the film is a preview of coming attractions for Anakin Skywalker. Anakin's life-support suit was just made a little more durable than the General's.

I think General Grievous is an awesome character too, definitely one of my favorite villians from the Star Wars saga. I liked the background info about him in Labyrinth of Evil, it added some good depth to his character.

He is a nice character and is aggressive, but if only he would have died over Coruscant (rendering him as a warrior than as a coward)
