I'm a Windows person. This is primarily because I've never used a Mac and I can't stand either of Linux's two main user interfaces (Gnome and KDE).
But as you probably know, the new version of Windows is coming out in approximately sixteen years, and it's going to rock.
I mean, those clever Microsoft people finally decided to stick the main menus BELOW the address bar in Internet Explorer!
Yay! Or not. This is why I'm proud to be an Opera user.
OK - so not everything about Vista's interface is great. But we can be sure Microsoft will take their time perfecting it before releasing it to us, right? Remember Windows 98? It was originally Windows 97, but that was just wishful thinking, and didn't work out.
Anyhow, here are some Windows Vista screenshots:

Overall, it's pretty darned cool looking. I'm rather angry that Microsoft hasn't approached me to see if I want to try out their beta. I mean, sure, I didn't pay $99 to join their "MSDN" thing and I'm not a journalist -- but who cares?
:-D
