Goblet of Fire videos
Mugglenet.com recently posted over a dozen downloadable scenes from the new Harry Potter movie, Goblet of Fire -- which is going to be released on November 18th, by the way.

And to quote from Mugglenet's comment section --

- I refuse to watch any clips. WAYY to much popping up everywhere, so I actually haven't seen any of the clips, as tempting as they all are.

- I WON'T watch them! Stop it! I've already seen most of the film pics, got the soundtrack for it, so now they want to make sure I've seen everything. I'm not going to watch them.

- NOOOOO! This is ludicrous. Overexposure! I mean Harry Potter fans love to see clips but at the same time we really don't want to see them.

Well, actually, I do really want to watch them. And I'm a Harry Potter fan.

If you have already read the Goblet of Fire book, is it still possible to spoil the Goblet of Fire movie for yourself? Aren't you already as spoiled as you can get?

And if not, did reading the ROTS novelization also not spoil the ROTS film for you?

Of COURSE reading the Noval would spoil the movie. Its a book based on the Movie.

The funny thing is, every clip I've seen looks nearly exactly as I read it in my mind. It's spoiled all to hell :0) But I'll still watch it.

I deliberately didn't read the ROTS novelisation until after I'd seen the film.

And I won't be watching Goblet of Fire. The Potter films seem such a dry and lifeless re-telling of the stories. I gave up after the first two.

Sometimes I like to keep my books and my films separate. :) I often get a feeling of cold dread when it's announced that a book I love is being adapted....

The Harry Potter movies have had 3 different directors now and each one of them has changed things to leave their mark on the series. Alfonso totally redid the layout of the Hogwarts grounds! That thing Harry is wearing in half the promo shots looks like araincoat if you ask me!

I can see why you wouldn't watch HP clips- I don't want to see what Voldemort looks like until theaters!
If you ask me Voldemort should have been written to look surprisingly young and more like Harry. Message: The Dark Side is in all of us. And now we are back to Star Wars which is why I like the HP books in the first place.

He's not in these particular clips, actually. But I do think he's in the GOF trailer. :-D

Something to point out

You can see at the end of ep.III that Padme is holding a crusifix along with the neckless Anikan gave her. I thought that was cool.

I usually see the HP books and movies as two completely different things, although I'm not a big fan ; I've only read each book once or twice. It did annoy me however in the third movie when the grounds of Hogwarts were changed, it just seemed like a stupid thing to do.

I actually thought what the POA director did with the grounds was kinda cool. I'm quite open to different interpretations of the books in film, so long as it remains entertaining.

Which I thought it was. Although admittedly the POA director is a really weird fellow, as anyone who's watched the extended content on the DVD knows. :P

I know this is off topic but bear with me
Harry Potter was never meant to be a movie, the whole feel of the stories do not work in that medium. It is mildly interesting to see these things on a screen and 'Philosopher's' was alright but 'Secrets' and 'Azkaban' were travisties and isn't it better to use imagination?
As for the images, only something relevant to the story could be a spoiler so unless there are speech bubbles of you've read the book you could not have been spoilt
