Newest Original Trilogy release

When ther re-re-released the original trilogy what exactly did they do to it and is it worth buying? I heard rumors but wanted to know

date Posted: Dec 30, 2007 10:37 PM Do you mean the 2006 individual DVDs? They're the same content as the 2004 DVDs, except with bonus discs. If you have the 2004 set, you have the latest version of the films. ph

date Posted: Dec 30, 2007 10:44 PM Not really sure what you are asking, but it sounds like a message board discussion. Here's a thread talking about the 2006 Original Trilogy theatrical release versions on DVD. There is all sorts of other info on starwars.com about the movie releases on DVD too.

date Posted: Dec 31, 2007 8:45 AM The original DVD release had some changes to the films. The subsequent DVD release didn't change anything. I'd follow jkthunder's link to learn more about the initial DVD changes.
