The Alternatives to Fighting

At last, it's time has come...
Yup, you read that right. The brilliant writer and host behind the legendary Mystery Science Theater 3000, Michael Nelson has given the Star Wars film we love to hate the same treatment he gave terrible, unknown B-movies back in the late eightes and early nineties. With a new production company and site www.rifftrax.com, that makes a humorous mocking commentary rather than an entire show, Mike Nelson's able to comment on more well-known movies such as The Matrix, X-Men, and Top Gun.

Joined on the TPM track by Kevin Murphy (Tom Servo from the original show), Mike gives this oft-mocked film the definitive roast it deserves. The track costs about $3.00, but is definitely worth it. They get pretty mean-spirited with their Jar Jar bashing (but who doesn't) and commenting in general, but that's pretty much how they've treated every movie they've riffed.

Personally, I loved it, but if you're a defender of Episode I, you might want to skip this one. I would love to see similar riffs of the rest of the saga, or at least the prequels.

They better leave ROTS alone.]:)
