So, I have been a member here since january and I have written a few blogs and have commented on many, but I have never actually introduced myself! so here goes....I became a star wars fan about two years ago, when my son started playing lego star wars. He loved the game so much, so I showed him the movies. Well, he loved them! They were the only non-animated movies he would watch! ( he was 4 years old)...so we watched them all the time and the more I watched them, the more I wanted to know about the story and the characters. So I began reading the books...and I kept on reading...I now have read about 40 books! My favorite so far are the jedi apprentice books! Because of them, Obi-Wan has become my favorite character..and Gui-Gon and Obi-Wan are my favorite duo!...I am just about to start reading Darth Bane: Path of Destruction...I have never read a book without any of the familiar characters in it, so it will be interesting. I'm excited!...I will let you know if I liked it...Anyway, I am 27 and have just started back to college to study early childhood education. It's a little scary to be back at school after all this time, but I am doing well. All A's so far!...I live in Iowa and I don't know any other people who love star wars like I do! So it's been so nice to be here and have people to share my love of star wars with...you all have been so nice and welcomming to me, thank you!...You all write such wonderful and thoughtful blogs and I have learned a lot...so I guess that is enough for now...I hope you know me a little better now and feel free to ask any questions if you have any...I am including a picture of my son because he is the one who inspired my love of all things star wars!!
