Lego-Star-Wars-2-A-Thon
I have wasted an entire day just to devote myself to this blog. Now if that doesn't convince you that I'm serious about my blogs, I don't know what will.

In some weird way, I have donated my mind & body to science today and I'm ready to tell the tale.

Here's the deal: I've been wanting for some time now to find out how every one stacks up against each other on LEGO SW II. Here's your chance!

Not sure it matters, but I play LEGO SW II on a PS2.

I've competed against myself long enough, now here are the times of some of the most important points of the game.

Story Mode
Times are compounded as I progressed through all 3 episodes
EPISODE IV: 0:51:58.13
EP. IV + EPISODE V: 1:44:55.01
EP. IV + EP. V + EPISODE VI: 2:44:04.62 (total time for all 3 episodes in Story Mode)

EPISODE BONUS LEVELS
EPISODE IV
Super Story: 43:21.31
Character Bonus: 2:48.62
Minikit Bonus: 3:14.74

EPISODE V
Super Story: 44:52.88
Character Bonus: 3:04.01
Minikit Bonus: 4:03.18

EPISODE VI
Super Story: 54:39.59
Character Bonus: 2:05.42
Minkit Bonus: 3:44.26

LEGO CITY
7:41.25

Now that you've seen my times, here are the rules so that you can add yours!

RULES
You are on your honor, so play nice!

1. You are allowed to use ANY "extras" you feel inspired to use. In the Story Mode IV, V, VI I used just about every single Extra except Tractor Beam, Self Destruct, Super Zapper & Regenerate Hearts. Yup, I already know I'm a bad seed, might as well exploit all the Cheats I can!!

2. Episode Bonus levels:
I was Greedo for all the character bonuses & Jedi Starfighter for minikit bonuses. I also played each bonus round 3 times and took the record time after I finished the 3 attempts.

3. Super Story:
Obviously, I was only able to play these levels once, so I'm stuck with what I've got!!

So you have my permission to spend all day with your LEGO SW II game (any platform!) and then report your times back to me! The best times will get a place of honor here in my ultra famous blog.

Now get out there & kick some brick!!

You're nuts! :x So, are you going to get the new combined Lego game when it comes out in the fall?

I haven't played either Lego game in a few months. It sounds like you're quite the pro at it!

Ick, I'm not touching that game for at least a few more weeks! Approximately two weeks ago, I finally actually bought the game. And it took me up to yesterday to completely say that I've beat the game 100%. Collected all the minikits, all the True Jedi things, all the gold bricks, and all the Power Bricks. I even bought all of the stud multiplier things and now I've got like x3840 or something. I'm thoroughly exhausted!

But who knows? I may want to rise to your challenge. ;)

...Although I thoroughly suck at minikit bonuses.

LOL you guys!!

Monday was the "Beginning" of Summer Vacation in the -Wan house. I celebrated by plopping myself in front of the t.v.

And no, RJ, I didn't know there was going to be a combined game.... it sure will be nice not to have to walk all...the....way.... to the PS2 to change the game.... one less step to becoming a complete couch potato. :p

JUST FOR THE BLOG here's what I did... it was the first day of "summer vacation" anyway, so we were all just hanging out at home. It takes around an hour to finish each episode in Story Mode so really I just had to find 3 points during the day when I could take an hour out & do an episode. I did Ep4 when I got up in the morning, Ep5 sometime late in the morning & Ep6 while my son & husband were out running errands in the afternoon. THEN I did the bonus levels after my son went to bed.

Super stories... well... I had 2 other saved games sitting there, so I just took the best times I'd put up.

See? Some of us aren't angels.... :D

I am also such a gamer at heart! I loved this! :D

We have both Legos games on our Gamecube, and I admit that I haven't logged as much time on II as I had the original (especially doing the pod race over and over :p ), but this summer I plan to conquer it!!! :D

Well if you mean how to access the Character Bonus you just have to finish all the chapters in a given episode in Story Mode. To play Minikit Bonus you have to build all the minikit ships from the episode. Choose "Use Old Save" in extras if you want to use PT ships.

Now if you mean how do you complete the character bonus, you have to run around like mad & collect 1,000,000 studs under the time limit. This is WAY easier if you already have invincibility & super blasters AND use a bounty hunter (like Greedo).

Let me know if you need more info than that.

No unfortunately... but you do get a gold brick the first time you beat the time limit.

You also don't get to keep the studs from the Super Story - but it ticks off the time difference (between yours & the time limit) and gives you some studs according to that. Honestly, I can't remember at the moment if that's true for the CB as well....

I can help you if it's PS2 help you seek! Let me know which levels you can't find them. Also, if you can save up enough money for the mini-kit detector (which is found in "Bespin Trap" with Luke & R2 behind the x-wing at the start of the level) you should be able to find all the mini-kits. Some need siths to recover, some need bounty hunters...
