A Jedi's Back Pack
Recently I wrote a blog that originally I intended to be about this topic: What is in little Anakin's back pack when he sets of from Tatooine with Qui-Gon Jinn? Instead, my blog turned into this big longwinded epic about diving headfirst into the unknown, taking a chance on a new life. Parallels between my upcoming adventure & Anakin's departure from Tatooine. And what a little honesty can mean to a scared kid's psyche.

So... I am finally going to write the blog I intended!

This particular blog involved an interview with my son. He is a huge fan of The Phantom Menace - probably because it is the only Star Wars movie that features a little kid! Someone his size he can relate to. Therefore, I figured this blog couldn't possibly happen without the consultation of our resident youngling. After much poking, prodding, bribing, pleading, begging & trickery, I finally got him to cough up the information I was looking for.

Explaining the situation to my son was easy: drawing parallels between our limited trunk space for our trip next week and the fact that Ani could only bring one little back pack with him. This was something he could understand. Today he was more than eager to talk about Ani's Back Pack.

The list according to Padawan-Wan:
1. A model of the Tantive IV
2. A mini-die cast of Padme's ship
3. A book about space ships
4. A fluffernutter sandwich
5. A peanutbutter & jelly sandwich
6. A picture of his mommy
7. A T-shirt w/a picture of himself on it (here's the one my padawan decided was it )
8. A bottle of water
9. Legos
10. Toothbrush

And there it is, the list!

See what your favorite younglings have to say about this topic! Of course, speculation open to grown-ups as well. ;)
