This Blog has Nuked the Fridge
"Jumped the Shark" has so jumped the shark, so we're long overdue for another handy Internet phrase. These enterprising types are suggesting "Nuke the Fridge" for good reason. What other contenders were there?

Swung with Monkeys
Acknowledged the Prairie Dog
Rode the Rocket Sled
Over-leaned on Previz
Decapitated the Statue
Rode the Waterfalls Thrice
Passed Old Unit Photography Off as Heartfelt Memories
Dragged around Amazing British Characters Actors as Deadweight
Bashed the Sequel <--- Courtesy of Stooge (Brilliant!)

LOL - you're on your own there, chum. ;)

However, if i really wanted to moan about Indy IV - then I guess I would call it 'old hat'.

Nuke the Fridge - Ha! :^O

Although Gahmah doesn't really have anything too negative against Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Probably not good ones, but what about...
- Grabbed the Snake
- Brought the Knife to a Gun Fight
- Started a Restaurant Brawl to Escape

I'm just glad there's a new Internet meme besides "Indiana Jones and the Insert Senior Citizen Joke Here."

How about, "Combined the thirteen skeletons into one living, breathing extraterrestrial entity"?

Too long? How about, "Morphed the bones"?

Darn, and I had 100 bucks on "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Denied Health Care Claims."

bashed the sequel is redundant.
but...
that assessment is from the unwashed and deliberate ignorant (a scary bondage of adjective and noun and actualy "deliberate" could be seen as a verb which makes it even worse). There are too many of them and they cancel-out my vote in presidential elections.

Now even Newsweek is reporting on the growth of this phrase: http://www.newsweek.com/id/143782

Star wars is now guilty of adding the cute kid to keep the show going ala Growing Pains, Family Ties, Married with Children, and many others. Therefore I submit:
"Added the Padawan"
OR
How about "Nicknamed the Baby Hutt", or "Ziroed the Franchise"
