A while back, a friend of mine in the bid'ness came up north from LA and asked me, "Have you heard about Sam Jackson's next movie?"
I said no, and he then proceeded to spin a fantastic yarn about a would-be assassin who, apparently never one to do things the easy way, plots to kill his target by unleashing a cargo full of deadly snakes onto an airplane carrying his intended hit.
Nail-clippers and lighters? No way. Crates of diamondbacks and mambas? Sure, as long as you have a form.
At the time, it was called
Flight 121, but c'mon, we all just referred to it as that "snakes on a plane" movie. Well, I was pleased to find out from the imdb that it had recently changed its title, and I couldn't be more satisfied by their selection.

When I told my
girlfriend Princess Lula about this momument of moviemaking, and mentioned I was thinking about blogging about it, she recommended that I add this:
Here's a way you can get into the fun of
Snakes on a Plane before the movie even gets here!
Snakes on a Plane
1 Celery Stalk (preferably with two branches still attached)
3 green beans
cheese whiz
Select celery stalk for resemblance to airplane -- two outreaching branches from the stalk would be ideal. Fill with cheese whiz. Arrange green beans in threatening fashion. Enjoy!
