Midnight, baby

About three weeks ago, I bought six tickets for the midnight screening at the Metreon in Downtown San Francisco. Tonight's the night. Me, and about a dozen or so Lucasfolks are off to catcth the show with the fans. There's nothing like it -- the difference is like listening to a song on a CD or listening to it performed live in front of a crazed audience. Among the bloggers going: swposterguy, bonniegrrl, Queen Amidala, Ghent, and Princess Lula.

This will be the fourth time I've seen the completed film, and it keeps getting better every time. So, for no reason other than to fill out a blog, here's how I'd rank my favorite Star Wars movies of all time...

1. Episode IV
2. Episode III
3. Episode V
4. Episode I
5. Episode VI
6. Episode II

Wow, that is brave of you!!

First of all, placing Episode I at the number four spot (and above II), but to place both IV and III above Empire - that's bold! I'm very glad to see that Jedi ranks lower than both I and III - as it does for me. I remember being sooo disappointed when I first saw it in theaters in 1983. I was 12, and expected SO much more.
