Batman Begins tops 2005 poll
Christopher Nolan's acclaimed blockbuster 'Batman Begins' has been named as the Best Film of 2005 by an internet poll posted on the website moviehole.net.

'Batman Begins', which starred Christian Bale as the caped superhero, was one of 2005's biggest box office successes, and did well to top a poll which included the final 'Star Wars' film and the Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie blockbuster 'Mr And Mrs Smith'.

Well.. okay. I guess that's news. I mean, it's the end of the year. Gotta make lists, right? And moviehole... I suppose that's a bluechip movie website that draws a lot of water... right? So what this website say qualifies as news...

And it's a poll, right? So that means this is what the public thinks... so then it's extra important that it's reported.

Well, actually, it wasn't a poll. Turns out it was just some guy's list of movies.

C'mon! How hard do you have to look online to find a qualified year's end list of best and worst movies to repackage as news?

I'm hoping some wire service picks up my last blog about taco stand names and runs it as news.
