Monday - Strip 1: Strip 5 reveals this to be Ord Mantell. I imagine it to be somewhere in the depths of the older cities, the less glitzy and glam areas of the planet. The script described this setting as some forgotten thoroughfare, like an abandoned subway tunnel or similar.
There's chainlink fence in the background, capped with razor concertina -- which I personally really don't think would exist as any form of structural deterrant in the Star Wars galaxy, though I'm sure there's an older comic somewhere that uses it. Since this is an old decrepit part of a city's infrastructure, then it's not supposed to have any sort of modern security. The reason I used it is because it very quickly establishes a "no trespassing" vibe.
I don't know what the little furry vermin is.
And yes, that's a Star Wars t-shirt graphic on the wall. It just seemed like an edgy addition that said abandoned urban decay to me.
The narration is from the running female fugitive, who we'll get to know later. As well as whatever it is she's carrying in her hand.
And yep, that's Skorr and Bossk teamed together.
Tuesday - Strip 2 The battered sign on the chainlink fence isn't really Aurebesh. It just looks like it. It says "CAUTION: NO TRESSPASSING."
So, this causeway isn't entirely forgotten, since there's a light over a doorway on in the background.
And our fugitive sure is agile...
Wednesday - Strip 3 Rather than take an easy shortcut, she takes a long way -- the CAUTION sign warning of some sort of fire hazard is enough to spook her.
Thursday - Strip 4 Bossk isn't terribly eloquent. The fugitive dives into a massive hole in the pavement that opens up into some underground water duct.
Friday - Strip 5 It's Ord Mantell. And she's stolen something from Skorr and made an enemy. Skorr's a territorial one, ain't he? And I imagine that water doesn't smell that great.
And though I don't think Bossk has always been depicted with sibilant speech, I couldn't help it. It just seems to fit his look.
