For all of you Hyperspace subscribers im shure you have gotten your Insider Magazine.(It was one of the best in my opinion) If you will take a second and flip over to the ask the master section you will notice someone has asked a very good question. In short he asked If the shield generator needed to be opened to let a transport out how did the Empire manage to get a Star Destroyer in to deploy the AT-AT's?


The Master replied and a picture was put beside his answer.(The Pic pretty much explains his answer so I wont type it). There was the Rebel Base Shield Generator and it was partially covered by the Shield. They show Vader's landing blocked by the Shield Generator and then they say AT-AT's must land and destroy the shield generator so vader can land.



Well if the AT-AT's can land why dont you just stick Vader in a AT-AT and then you wouldnt have to go through the trouble of destroying the Shield generator and the Rebel ships wouldnt be able to escape.
