Mysteries of the red-eyeds bartenders with bad grammars
Okay, I want some anwers and I want them now! What kind of answers you might ask, which is probably fair enough since I haven't even told you the question I want the answers for.

Now, you might be familiar with the expression "Never trust a bartender with bad grammar" if you've played the game Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast - you might even know it if you haven't played it, because it has become somewhat of a catchphrase in certain parts of the Star Wars fan community. Who exactly i Kyle Katarn referring to? He's referreing to the blue-skinned red-eyed Chiss working as a bartender in Reelo Baruk's bar on Nar Shaddaa. This bartender has an annoying grammatical disorder causing him to add the plural suffix to virtually every noun he utters.

Okay, so, he's a Chiss bartender, and the could be the end of that. But, if one takes a look at Zeltros: Pleasure Planet Part 1: Who Doesn't Like Zeltrons? (silly question: everybody likes Zeltrons), one will come across a quote by someone called 'Red-Eye Baldarek'' who expresses his appreciation of the Zeltron "pheromonses":

"Jedis, they likes to say that the Force bindses all lifes in the galaxy togethers. But after a week on Zeltros, I thinks the Force is nothings compared to the powers of Zeltrons pheremoneses."

Note that this Baldarek, who presumably has red eyes, suffers from a grammatical disorder very similar to that of the Chiss bartender (this guy even add the 's' suffix to verbs too), and, well, he used to be a bartender on Zeltron.

And here's the question: Is Baldarek and the Chiss bartender the same character? Does anyone know? It would seem so, but are there any official sources that can confirm or disconfirm this?

Okay, and then there's a second question. The the PC-version of Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, the Chiss bartender, or Baldarek, appears in one of the many cantinas in the Nar Kreeta mission, but he doesnt appear in the X-box mission (he's barely visible on this image, but it is him). Believe it or not, but some X-box players actually claim that his appearance i non-canonical, because he only appears in the PC-version and not the X-box version. So, is his appearance canonical? Did he somehow get a job on Nar Kreeta, is it perhaps his twin brother, or is an X-box simply more canonicax than a PC?

The Chiss bartender/Red-Eye Baldarek is a fascinating character, and I'd actually like to see a short story or a gaming article, or something, piecing together his entire backstory - and explaining his unfortunate little languages problems... err... language problem. I think it would be good material for "What's the Story?" or maybe he could appear in a future comic story or something.

...and no, the picture has nothing to do with the content of this blog, but I'm sure that if the dancers saw the red-eyed bartender, that's how they'd react.

I made a short story(Fan Made) with that guy, because he was a character that wasn't that important I thought he wouldn't be missed, but he ends up being exacuted at the hands of my fan made jedi character.

Sorry!

I'm sure somebody will make something up about him.

Phase three in process.
