Impetus for writing this piece: WARNING MATURE SUBJECT MATTER--directly answers how Jedi Make Love... Besides very carefully and use of the Force. Is isn't so much that others have thought about this concept too. It might prove to be a collective thought or composite thought. But all the matters is Anakin has sex with Padme and they produce children--at the end of other stories.
This part doesn't preclude this fact: There is no way to stay married these days devoid of sex. It may be infrequent, the youthful marriages often include sexual expression, intimacies and connections. The other thing youth affords is the chance to take risks. Risks that teeter on the edge of death defying acts. Now while this part of my story does not deal with physical defying acts, it does deal with illicit drug usage, inadvertently imbibed by the most innocent.
I think it shows that Anakin really was not a "punk" or a "sap" flippant and whiny baby, and was unable to manage his emotions. I think he was really under much duress. Sure he ultimately chose when he became Darth Vader--we fans all know that, but he was NOT so "angelic" and oblivious to dealing with the realities of life. It would be abnormal to assume that he could do no wrong. He did wrong and he did it often as a Jedi for which he was reprimanded. It was like he got use to being punished over time. So why was he afraid that the Jedi would expel him from Order because he got "married" - that is just silly given what past Jedi have done. Enriching sexually relationships with intimacy is not the reason one break his or her celibacy. Dissociating from one's true sexual self does... How does one know what it feels like to be dissociated from his/her sexual self if they have never had sex? EVOLUTION!
Evolution has a build in mechanism driven by social determinants like cultural, familial, physical environment, genetics/behavior, mores, etc, that drives the perpetuation of almost all Earthly species that do vertebrate sexual reproduction... There is some strong biology here that has evolved. No amount of religious indoctrination can override billions of years of evolution. But this is not discussion of creationism religious theory versus science, theories and current questions. The fact is the "Dance of Life" is as perpetual as long as there is life...
The Master Jedi called it reckless. Well I am writing about what that looks like:
