Star Wars is ten years older than me. That means that I wasn't even born back in 1977. So I don't have any great memories of seeing it in theaters(not even the Special Edition release, I only saw ROTJ then). I've only seen the movie on the small screen. And I watched the trilogy backwards at that. But I can recite most of the dialouge along with the movie. I was in fourth grade when I read my first EU book(that was before I had even seen any of the movies) and now I just got done with my second year of college. That means I've been a fan for 11 years. That's more than half my life. I've had people tell me I was crazy to be into Star Wars, but my high school English class almost watched ESB for our unit on epic heroes (there was one person in the class who absolutely refused to watch anything SW so we watched The Princess Bride instead). I don't Know what that means but tonight I will watch ANH, which I haven't seen in almost a year. It should be fun.
