Sithly contemplating... or pondering Plagueis & Palp
Recently in the "A couple trippy Palpatine quesitons" thread, the gang and I've been having some extensive, occasionally somewhat heated discussions about Darth Plagueis.

Since the newest databank updates were posted I discovered information about DP posted in the updates about Darth Vader.

~In Vader: The Ultimate Guide it says that Plagueis actually did achieve certain levels of success with his midi-chlorian manipulation, but that it's never been made clear if it was DP or his apprentice, Sidious, who is responsible for the existence of Anakin Skywalker.

~So I guess my question is does the Ultimate Guide speak the truth about this matter...meaning: Were Palp & Plagueis really the ones who [somehow] impregnated Shmi Skywalker---- and therefore responsible for the existence of the Chosen One who would bring about the destruction of the Sith???:|
