Ok, so I never read the NJO but I did read The Joiner King, and The Unseen Queen. So I'm an EU n00bie, but at least that means I can give you a non-biased review of the 3rd book of the Dark Nest Trilogy which was released December 05.

Well the Episode III release nostalgia is really building up in me lately. I guess because it was about this time 1 year ago that things were really getting into gear.

I had the oppurtunity to purchase Dark Lord on its release date. I was hoping to be able to squeeze a little reading in during Thanksgiving. Luckily for me, the time for reading came. And I must say, this book surpassed my expectations.

Sure, I knew what Order 66 was all about. I had read the novel, etc. But during the midnight showing when Anakin killed Mace I knew I was in for an emotional ride in the next few minutes. I found myself praying that Anakin would realize what he is doing

Our wait is almost over, what kind of emotions will it bring knowing that simple fact. The wait is over, but it's loosing that wait that brings a bit of sadness to heart...
