How ROTS Sparked a Career Intrest
A little over a year ago I found myself surfing StarWars.com Episode 3 was well into post-production. Since I wasnt a hyperspace member back then I did all I could to learn about the post-production process. One part in particular really sparked an intrest. Computer Generated Shots. I found the process to be amazing, and seeing what could be created through a computer was simply beautiful. I pulled out the Episode II DVD bonus disc and went through every documentary that explored computer generated effects. I followed post-production, got a simple idea of how it works... and decided, this is what i want to do!

Episode III came around, and of course I was excited about the story. The action and all. But what I was also anxious to see, was how ILM would change all these simple blue screen sets with maybe a few set pieces and markers into full scenes over a river of lava, or in the middle of a giant city. In short, the pulled it off perfectly. The shots and computer effects looked better than ever. The digital characters performances were beyond believable. I was amazed.

The path has been set before me. I want to learn CGI.

Now all I have to do is find the schools....
