Hooked On A Feeling
This morning, I'm on the road, running late for work, heading for the highway. I've got a couple of complicated dilemmas on my mind. Suffice it to say that I'm not in the best of moods.

I'm at a stoplight, looking around. Ahead of me in the next lane, I see a license plate that reads, "LYT SABR". Suddenly my mood lifts, and I start to giggle to myself. For just a moment, I forgot about my problems and being late for work. I thought, cool, there's someone who's got a cute sense of humor, who's probably as obsessed, if not more, than most of us here, with SW and isn't afraid to show it.

I tell ya, it's those out-of-the-blue, spontaneous moments that keeps life interesting and full of surprises.

Doesn't SW always brighten up your day? Especially when you see folks who are not afraid to show they're fans. :D

Funny! I think it was a few months back, but I ended up behind a mini-van with the license plate: JEDI MOM. Of course, I laughed (ha!).

Absolutely! Very cool.

A friend told me about a license plate that said DRTHMOM. Wish I had thought of that! And I recently saw a license plate that said JP77 and started looking for "our" jp77!

I hope you have a great rest of your day!! :x

"LYT SABR";) Awesome! Very Cool!:)

That just inspired me to buy some SW T-shirts from Zazzle!:8} Well, there for C IV.
Thanks so much for sharing, E&HF5.

Hope your day stays out-of-the-blue & spontaneous !!

I wanted to get a SW license plate, but then decided I shouldn't spend the money :(
I hate being practical - it so gets in the way of a good time. However, when I think about it the way you've described above a SW license plate is really quite philanthropic. :D It spreads joy and good cheer, not to mention the light of the Force. To get one I'd really being doing something significant for humanity I think..... now if I could just convince my husband!

Atta girl!! That's the way to think! I do have vanity plates, but they have nothing to do with SW... they do, however, have my Pug's name on them so at the very least that makes me smile. :D

That's just too cool!! I've been contemplating getting SW vanity plates, but will have to wait until next year (I recently renewed my tags). I am always on the lookout for these plates, but have yet to see one :(

Too true. Especially SW out-of-the-blue moments!

I saw a license plate very much like this once, but was spelled differently (I don't remember what it was now...)

I'm deffinitly going to have a SW license plate! (When I'm old enough to drive - only 2 years! - and I have a car of my own, that is...)

MTFBWY, and Happy 30th Anniversary!

Definitely! I wanted to get along side of him and give him a thumbs-up or something, but he got way ahead of me (plus, if I did that he might just think I'm nuts :O).

Especially when you see folks who are not afraid to show they're fans.
You said it. I haven't seen that many personalized things like that license plate, and I was so proud of that driver! By the way, I don't think I told you yet but I love your new blog title!

Thank God for SW fans!
You got it! Thank the Maker! :)

JEDI MOM
Very cool. Hmmm, that gives me an idea...

Yeah, I haven't seen any license plates like that.. but my American History teacher keeps a lightsaber on her keyring. I love just bumping into Star Wars everyday.. it's a sort of relief, if ya know what I mean. Just there to say, "Hey, you're not the only one!".

V 4 GINA

When I bought my first nice car (i.e., having air conditioning and a CD player -- both firsts for me), it was a white coupe. Kind of cool looking, if I do say so myself.

I tried to get a "Rogue2" license plate, but someone in AZ had apparently already taken it. Now, I'm saddled with an un-personalized plate.

Exactly. Like Mina said, it sure is a small world!

I tried to get a "Rogue2" license plate.
"Rogue 2" would've been cool. Good thing you didn't get that though; you might get confused with a certain fellow "Rogueish" blogger from across the pond! ;)

Hmm...yeah, stuff like that will brighten a day for sure. Occasionally I'd see a guy on the subway platform wearing a jacket with the stormtrooper helmet and some crossbones on it. I'd just get the biggest grin!

Anyway, this gives me an idea for once I get my own car. What do you think? How about GRIEVUS on the tags? That'll fit, right? No? Well...maybe something obscure and EU, like...ATIN FI--from the Republic Commando series. No? Well how about....

Cool! There's a guy who's proud of his fandom.

ATIN FI--from the Republic Commando series.
Sorry, never read that series, I have no idea who ATIN FI is. :8}

GRIEVUS is good! If it doesn't fit, you could do GRIEV or initials, or something like that.

Hey, I had a Vader sighting the other day.

In the begining of the movie, I think was called, Unfaithful, there was a wind chime and I swear the stone on the chime looked just like Darth Vaders Mask.
