I started my current job less than a year ago. My previous boss was very difficult to deal with... hard to please, unapproachable, a terrible communicator, and passive-aggressive like you wouldn't believe! My new boss is the polar opposite...straightforward, unassuming, and sweet. Yesterday, she gave me gifts for the holidays...2 Thomas Kinkade items (he's one of my favorite artists!) and a Star Wars 2006 poster calendar! How nice that she pays attention to her employees' individual interests. That is such a boost to morale!

By the way, the poster calender is great. I'm not a collector, so I haven't paid much attention to things like that. But now I'm so glad that I have it!There's even a REVENGE of the Jedi poster!

I've had several different bosses, and most of them have been good. But my current boss is above and beyond. I hope that bosses like mine are the rule and not the exception. I'd be interested to hear anyone else's good or bad expereiences with their bosses. Thanks!
