I'm always hesitant to write about politics, but I couldn't let this go!

In previous blogs, our president has been compared to Sidious. Now, in light of the recent shooting incident involving the Vice President, it is becoming apparent that Siths ARE INDEED prevalent in the White House!

I refer you to this MSN article: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11436302/site/newsweek/, specifically a quote from page 2, referring to Mr. Cheney: "He is caricatured as a Darth Vader, spooky, above the law; nefarious". According to the article, the characteristics attributed to our V.P. are emotionally guarded and secretive, and he is apparently not so power-hungry as to attempt to be after his superior's job. But as we all well know, appearances can be deceiving!

Now, I don't want to instigate a blog confrontation; I'm not stating my personal political opinions, nor am I advocating one politician over another. It's just that this is the first administration I can recall that keeps being compared to the Sith. I'd actually get a kick out of it, if the comparisons weren't so darn scary!!
