This was my first Star Wars convention ever (it just never worked out before), but was it amazing! That 6 movie marathon! What a start! There were so many fantastic shows, I just wanted to see them all. Too bad that was impossible. The shows with Carrie Fisher were amazing, she does not disappoint. If anyone actually missed her shows, you missed out on a lot. And all the amazing costumes! Wow! I don't know if I'd have the patience to make some of those amazing costumes! How do people find the information to make such intricate detail to be exactly like the movie! I'd love to make one of those but it would take so much time and I doubt I could do all the embroidery and metal crafting etc. that would be needed. How some people can make all those parts for their costume just blows my mind. The Costume Pagent was pretty cool, I only went to the one on Friday. After over two hours it did get a little long but there were some really cool costumes.
I guess the whole affair just overwhelmed the senses. I hope to participate in many more conventions to come.
