When I first saw Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, I thought that Qui-gon would end up turning to the dark side. Qui-gon was a good character in TPM. This blog entry is the most likely conclusion of what would happen if Qui-gon survived TPM. So here it is.

Qui-gon Jinn would probably have turned to the dark side. He would then replace Count Dooku's role in episodes II and III. In episode III Anakin would be powerful enough to kill Qui-gon and he would. But then how would the jedi be able to learn how to cheat death? Perhaps Yoda could learn how from the Journal of the Whills. I think this would be a better story then having Qui-gon die and a guy named Count Dooku come in.
