What about Obi-Wan's name? When Obi-Wan meets the adolescent Luke for the first time in A New Hope, Luke tells him R2-D2 belongs to an Obi-Wan Kenobi. Kenobi anwers him with the words: "I haven't gone by the name Obi-Wan since oh, before you were born."
