One of the more interesting sub-plots in this great six-part "space opera" is the evolution of the Jedi Order. The Jedi are, of course, the "good guys", the champions of the down-trodden, the followers of the Light. But without Darkness, specifically their Sith counterparts, the Jedi would have been just a bunch of single guys (and girls) who like to wear earth-tones and don't get out much.
