This is gonna be a short entry. A year ago, around the 27th, a very, very close friend of mine died tragically. A coupla nights ago, I had a dream where he came back as if nothing happened. Then last night around 4 am, it hit me. Hard.
Later this week, I'll draw and post the 9th issue of Greedo's HAN-ting, but at this moment... I just need a minute.

Weird dream. Take your time coming back. It will make seeing the next Han-ting that much more special.

The Force is seriously the only thing that kept me from getting extremely bent outta shape. 'Cause even though my friend's dead, he's not gone. I'm a firm believer in the Force after something that happened years ago, so I know my friend is now one with the Force. And that belief is what kept me going.
After nearly half a year of carrying on, I dunno why this just hit me like it did...

I had a major event like that happen to me a few years back and around the anniversary every year it really hit me hard. It does get better, but you're never unaware. Take all the moments you need and as much as possible give it over to God (some things are too much for mere mortals).

I'm so sorry Trak Nar.
As everyone else has already said, take your time--we love your Han-ting strip, but we can wait.

Trak Nar,
I too lost a friend tragically a few years back. Dreams were haunting, peaceful and soothing. In my case, the dreams were of me yelling to her not to move (as, in my dream, I watched the horrific accident happen from across the highway) which turned to dreams of her telling me she was alright now and that it wasn't my fault for not being with her that day.
I lost my friend in 1993 and, to this day, on the anniversary of her death, I watch the last movie we ever watched together and drink a bottle of wine.
For the longest time, I mourned her on that day. Now, I celebrate her, her short life (she died when she was 21) and the time we had together.
((((Hugs))))
Hang in there.

Thanks guys. Today I'm in a better mood than I was that night, that's for sure. But the 27th is creeping up so prolly more weird dreams will come with it. Or something.
I wanna do something as some sorta tribute... but almost immediatly after my friend died, I left the community that I used to frequent. Too many memories, I dunno. I still have his cellphone number in my address book, he's still on my Buddy List...
I dunno where I was going with that train of thought. My mind just went completely blank.

Hey, kiddo. J here. Just figured I'd mention that I still think about you from time to time and for what it's worth, I'll still around if you ever are.
Peace.
