This just suddenly came to me outta the blue. I was just browsing the other entries when I skimmed over this one. Seeing "Luuke" somehow unlocked some old memory...

The year was... well, I forget, but that's not really important. My brother and I were visiting our cousins and we had brought our Star Wars figures along. As you can guess, each of my cousins wanted to be Luke, and we had plenty of Luke's to go around. My brother suggested that one of 'em be a "clone Luke."

I quip with "Yeah! And there really is a clone Luke, 'cept they spell his name with two U's."

My brother laughs. "I'm not Luke, I'm... 'Lukee,' spelled with two E's! The second E stands for... Evillll..."

My cousin joins in with a Spawn figure. "Oh yeah? Well, I'm not Spawn! I'm 'Spawn' spelled with two E's! The second E is for... Evilll..."

Needless to say, the logic was somewhat lost on my then-8-years-old cousin, but it became quite the inside joke for me and my brother. Ah, memories...
