I was playing Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight this morning and I was trying to figure out which one of the cutscenes I liked the best. I went over them today, and I think my favorite is the opening scene. It is a mixture of horror and nervous excitement when you see the Corellian corvette tumbling away from the Star Destroyer, the flagship of Jerec. Inside, we find Rhan, a Jedi Knight, being interrogated by Jerec. It is elation we feel when Rahn grabs one of the other Dark Jedi's lightsabers and starts duking it out with them. It turns quickly into stomach-churning horror when we see Rahn succumb so easily to Jerec's dark side powers. Then, you can only flinch when Jerec proceeds to slaughter the defenseless Jedi.

This is my favorite because of the many ups and downs I experience when I see it. What's yours?
