Boba in the New Series?
Ah, it's good to be back.

I have been out of the loop for too long. Today, however, I discovered amidalooine's blog about the new Clone Wars series, and she brought up an interesting point.

Boba Fett.

Just how much will we see of the big, bad bounty hunter in his youth? As ami said, he will most likely be hitting puberty at this point in his life (and I am inclined to believe that clones do indeed hit puberty, because they are humans as well -- thanks to Karen Traviss for reminding us of this fact!). He was already a mean little sucker in Episode II, so will this make him even worse?

Boba Fett is probably my favorite character throughout the saga, hands down. Or hands up, whichever the nice Mandalorian would like. :D Anyways, who do you want to see more of (besides the obvious main characters)?

Perhaps even a little glimpse into the misdeeds of Dr. Evazan and Ponda Baba? Or what about a look at the worlds of the Neimoidians? I would enjoy more development of the minor characters.

Thoughts?

Well, I think if we see Boba at all he will be a little boy, like he was in Episode II. According to what I have read he was supposed to ten in Episode II (although the actor who played him was older). I don't think I would want to see whatever of his life could be shown at that point; because he would be learning to sharpen his hate for the Jedi and, to the extent that a non-Jedi can, he would be turning to the Dark Side.

Great Blog RR :D

I can't wait to see more of R2-D2. But I think it would be very interesting if we did see Boba Fett, I have no Idea If we will or not.

he would be turning to the Dark Side.

Does everyone who is a bad guy turn to the dark side? I thought he would just be becoming another intergalactic villian. A bounty hunter counts as a villain don't they? Well, I suppose that depends on who there working for, so Boba would be a villain then.

Oh, and before I forget, I really hope we get to see Palpatines red guards actually fight.

I would love to see more action from the background Jedi like Plo Koon, Aayla Secura, Kit Fisto, Shaak Ti, etc. It will be interesting to see Boba in the new series. The movies never really tell when he becomes a bounty hunter, perhaps they'll show some of that in the series.

LOL!
I remember the day Daniel came to Orlando for the SW weekends last year... different people came up to ask him questions in the Interview thingy... One that I already knew the answer to is "There have been talks about you being in the next SW Live Action show. Is this true" I said "Yes" Danny said "No"... "Not at all"
now, months after the event... BAM! "Daniel Logan to play main character Boba Fett in new Star Wars Live Action TV series"
When I went up to get his Autograph and take a picture, I almost asked him "Are you really not in the Live Action show?" But it was raining real bad and I had to high tail it out of there, so I just skipped it.
Anyhow, (This is to danny) What ever you tell us SW fans, we'll always know the truth.

Hey...I just out a link to this entry in my entry. :)

Boba is far from my favorite character, yet the thought of seeing more of him between where we leave him in AOTC and where we see him again in the OT fascinates me. THAT would interest me...a lot.

he would be learning to sharpen his hate for the Jedi and, to the extent that a non-Jedi can, he would be turning to the Dark Side.

That's an interesting view, FAN4YRS. I agree with BlueX, though, that not every bad guy has turned/will be turned to the dark side. And I also think that he may not be the bad guy that many fans think he is, but because he is hired by Vader and Jabba to do their dirty work, he is automatically thrown in with the bad guys who really are bad guys. I mean, think about it this way. If Luke Skywalker and Han Solo had not boarded the Death Star and rescued Leia, who really would have thought that a farmboy and a smuggler would be the heroes of one of the most legendary sagas ever? But I desist.

JediITL, funny story!

Hey...I just out a link to this entry in my entry.

Cool! I've heard about a children's series that talked about Boba Fett, but haven't gotten around to checking them out.

I would like to see more Chewbacca, at least a little. The Red Guards would be awesome to see fighting!

I would love to see more of the Red Guards, too!! For some reason, I just think they're incredibly cool! :D Who are they? How did they get where they are?

Who are they? How did they get where they are?

I remember reading somewhere that they replaced the original Senate Guards, so maybe a few of the Senate Guards joined up to form the Red Guards. It would be interesting to discover their origins.
