In two weeks, me and my fiance will be attending the southeast's biggest geek event, named Dragon*Con. Although I have never been to Comic*Con in San Diego, this is the con that I dare say is the Mardi Gras of cons. Two hotels, twenty-thousand geeks, gaming rooms, authors, actors, artists, dealer's rooms, and costumes galore. And in the middle of all that, I will be promoting Star Wars Epics.

I was thinking about printing out business cards and just handing them out to people, especially those apparently into the SW genre and going from there. Either that, or make flyers to distribute them. I am not really sure in what direction to go as far as advertising. And of course, word of mouth always helps too.

I plan to try to get acquainted with others like me who own and promote their sites and see what they have done to advertise their websites and hopefully apply them to mine. As well, talking about affiliating our boards would probably help a great deal.

So far, we are getting quite a nice influx of new writers/roleplayers, two of which I am most impressed with their writing. I hope they keep up with it and stay with us, as I think both would be a valuable asset to the board.
