Hello,
Star Wars is the single most amazing hexology ever created. It kicks star trek's a**. And as you can tell by my name i am a strong imperial supporter, and was not very impressed byt he stormtroopers actions in IV. Now taking a review of the original trilogy in this blog, i am going to go over episodes at a time in realism, then the whole.
In episode IV, the story should go like this:
-In the boarding of
Tantive IV
R2-D2 and C-3PO should cross before the rebel troops have paused to counterfire again.
-When hiding in the rocks from Tuskens, R2 senses Tuskens before their in Luke's sight. somehow R2's sensor range shortens to considerably shorter during that time, so much that he doesn't make an alarm when he is practicly in Luke's face.
-Obi Wan's "Roar" should be edited so it is an actual roar, not a bird call
-Luke should seem slightly more surprised that his father was a jedi, they wern't all that comon (except in galaxies)
-Although sad as it is, Stormtroopers have not been known to literally torch their victims. E-11's do nto set people ablaze. Possibly the reason of flamethrowers or disintegrations, but it should be cleared up in the movie some how.
-The Kerestrian (or whatever he is who translates for luke in the bar) should be kille din a noticeable way not just fall over
- Han should be the person to shoot first against Greedo, otherwise Greedo would have a huge advantage, a steady hand aiming straight at han. very improbable that he would miss at such range.
-the walls of the mos eisley space port should not collapse so easily. The structural integrity of a building that crumbles so easily would not make for a good spaceport.
-On the Death Star detention center Chewie throws a Navy trooper backwords. Although the possibility of a KO, it would be more likly if he had picked up the trooper and thrown him, or choked him.
-The stormtroopers on the Death star need a serious accuracy check. not other comment on that.
-Finally the death star should have a bit more fighters to protect it.
I will be doing similar comments on V and VI and the Series all together. please leave your input, thanks.
By all means, i love the star wars movies and i like them just the way they are. this does not reflect my opinion of star wars movies, but is just a realist view of star wars.
