The Skywalker Bunch

Anakin=the Mike Brady character-type
Padme=the Carol Brady character-type
Luke=all the boys
Leia=all the girls
See Threepio=Alice
Artoo-Detoo=Tiger

Anakin: Hi, Padme, I'm home.

Padme (kiss): How was your day, dear?

Anakin: Oh, we had to destroy a planet, but, it was in the way of a new parking lot.

Leia: I hope no parks were destroyed, Daddy.

Luke: Yeah, where are us guys supposed to play ball.

Anakin: Don't you kids believe in progress?

See Threepio: Mr. Skywalker, Mr. Skywalker.

Anakin: Yes, Threepio.

See Threepio: I think we have a problem with Artoo.

Anakin: What's the problem.

See Threepio: Artoo, come here.

Artoo enters and Leia begins to sneeze.

See Threepio: You see what I mean, sir?

Anakin: Yes, we'll have to destory him.

Padme: Oh, sweetheart, that's you're answer for everything!

Luke: Maybe it's just the new audio receiver you attached to him.

Anakin removes it and walks over to Leia.

Anakin: Honey, does that make you sneeze.

Leia (sneezes): Sure does, Daddy.

Anakin: Well, the good news is we won't have to destroy Artoo.

Padme, Luke & Leia: Hooray!

Anakin: We'll just obliterate the people who made the audio receiver.

Padme: Oh, honey, really.

Anakin: Remember, kids, it's very important to do your best work, or your overseers might have you killed.

Luke: Oh, gee, Dad.

Artoo: Beep blop.

Anakin: what's wrong.

See Threepio: Artoo says he either needs a new audio receiver, or we need to start using sign language.

Leia: That's real groovy!

Luke: Far, far out!

Padme: Real heavy, man.

Anakin (hugging Padme): The furthest sweet heart.

date Posted: Oct 18, 2006 5:17 PM You never cease to amaze me FAN4YRS! That was hilarious! May I add my two cents of comedy? Luke: Far, far out! .. he says, as he secretly dreams of sharing a bunk with Leia, seperated only by a curtain, while at the same time trying to hide a bantha mascot and his death sticks from his parents in Biggs' team jacket.

...or when Luke whacks Leia in the shnoze with his lightsaber..."Oh, my nose!!!"

...or how about when Luke finds that evil Tiki Idol in Hawaii that brings everybody bad luck...?

date Posted: Oct 19, 2006 8:23 AM I don't know, I have thought about some sequels. I wish I knew a good way to do "Leia Leia Leia", but without anohter female Skywalker around Luke and Leia's age. I have also thought about introducing an Oliver character.

I did manage to print it out, and when I get a free minute I will scan it in and post it as a link...

Wow, I really struck a chord with you, DJ Maul!

In my mind it's hard to tell where I stand with the Anakin character in "The Skywalker Bunch". I guess it's sort of like, if Padme had gone along with his turn to the Dark Side, but demanded a normal family life. To my way of thinking he is not in the Vader suit and at home doesn't go by that name, it's just for work. I suppose that's awful of me, it seems like Anakin should have stayed with the Good Side in order for "The Skywalker Bunch" to take place, but who knows.

I like your drawing.

LOL, yea, it seems Ive become OBSESSED with this blog, lol....

Actually I like that theory: Anakin, Dark Lord of The Sith by day, loving family dad by night, shedding the mask & suit for some fuzzy slippers and bathrobe provided by Padme, and helping Luke & Leia with their homework before sitting down to a home cooked meal by from their droid servant 3PO...one big happy dysfunctional family...
