Jerry Lewis turns 81 Today

Happy Birthday to Jerry Lewis!!

This is the third website I've been able to put these birthday wishes on.

Jerry taught George Lucas in college in a film class (eventually, the lectures became released as THE TOTAL FILMMAKER)

In 2000 I taped "Who's Minding the Store?" from cable television. It's a Jerry Lewis film about a man who is being purposefully overworked by his employer. That's exactly how I felt at the time, and I really needed it as something to relate to.

It's funny how God puts people in your life at the right time. In 2004 when Jerry made an amazing health comeback, that was really encouraging to me, since I had a pacemaker put in that year.

date Posted: Mar 16, 2007 5:24 PM Yeah, the 2003 Telethon was very inspirational to me, too. I had just received some bad news in the mail (really bad, but I'd prefer not to go into it) and it was the weekend of the Telethon and I watched it and empathized with other people's concerns instead of being swallowed up by my own.
