My Four Favorite "Star Wars" Films
Star Wars IV: A New Hope
This one has almost everything with a familiar hero story. At the end of the two hours it's fun, exciting, and shows you intriguing new worlds that you walk away from--even as an adult--thinking you have just seen intriguing new worlds.

Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back
Finally, the truth can be told: heroes have bad days, too. They get themselves into messes, their enemies get them in messes, they don't get themselves out...or do they? Wait for

Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi
This one DOES have everything: romance, music, comedy, drama, adventure, horror. Anakin saves Luke, Luke saves Anakin, Han and Leia stop playing it cool and express their love.

Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace
Yeah, people will disagree with this one. However, we see a galaxy without war. One that hasn't known war for a long time. Sure, there are still injustices, but it gives us a chance to see the galaxy at peace (in the beginning) and through the eyes of a child (something we only get once in the GFFA).

Star Wars IV: A New Hope -- we meet all kinds of new friends and by the end we're not
sure how it's all going to end, because we know Vader is still out there somewhere.

Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back -- all heck breaks loose -- we meet Yoda.
A once great Jedi Master. Lando C. an old friend of Han Solo. Were not sure how he's going go fit in, but in the end we know he's really a good guy.
Luke ' I'm your Father" Who saw that comming.

Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi -- The force works in mysterious ways. Old friends re-unite.
New friends are found. Han, Luke and Leia can live in peace.:)

Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Mentice -- some may have an issue with this one -
yes, but like you said -- It's told thur the eyes of a child.

Nice list. My personal favorate for a 4th -- Revenge of the Sith -- I like seeing just how
evil Palpatine really is:)

Thanks, I think you wrote better lists than mine. I agree with you, too, about episode III.

Hmm...interesting fourth film! Though it wouldn't be my choice, TPM has Qui-Gon, who happens to be one of my favorite PT characters.

Like you, I'm an OT lover 'til the end. ;)

And CONGRATS on blog of the day! :D
