Lucas created a galaxy not so far away from our own...as far as the people and their relationships. So, I was wondering--what do they drink in outerspace?

Not being an alcoholic drinker, I was thinking along the lines of soft drinks.

Perhaps they are advanced enough to know that soft drinks are bad for you and they simply didn't have them. Still, I can see a young Luke Skywalker begging his Uncle for a can of Hyperspace--or whatever a cola would be named.

I think Hyperspace would be a good name for a soft drink in that galaxy. On Earth, we combine soft drinks with fun--sports, etc. Surely a fun concept for atomsphere-locked citizens would be the idea of hyperspace and going off into unknown areas and adventures. I would say that someone similar to Han Solo--or perhaps an adult Luke--would be a good spokesman.

"You're in the right place...with a can of Hyperspace", might be the anthem of the commercials.

Perhaps Hyperspace would run a campaign like Coca-Cola did in 1999. Their aim was a Coke in everyone's hand by 2000. My sister has done mission work in Haiti and while those people don't have electricity in their own homes they do have Coke machines! I can just see an Ewok coming down from his hut and going to the machine that will dump out an Hyperspace soft drink.

Maybe after the battle of Endor when Luke, Leia, and Han are discovered to be the heroes they rightful are, someone would come to them to see if they would do an ad, or maybe they would simply hire look-a-like actors, I can see it now...
