Remembering The Saga
From catching a few glimpses of a new Space movie that was going to premiere in the summer of 1977 to waiting in line for Episode 3 38 years later, I was among the generation of fans that were able to witness it all first hand. From the early days of the Star Wars craze, to the golden age of the "Empire" to the modern era, George Lucas' sprawling space saga has moved me, inspired me, and thrilled me in a way no other modern entertainment has.
This is for those of you who were there, and for those of you who wish you had been.
(Note: I have removed all older entries in the hope of one day providing them in a more dynamic fashion. I hope you got to read and enjoy them while they lasted. I now cohost a Star Wars Podcast called "Echo 3 to Echo 7" that covers a lot of the written memories.
If you get a chance, head on over and have a listen, and let us know what you think!
