Hello and welcome to Edition 5 of "WWPLP?"
Potential commenters keep in mind that I'm aware that the "real" Padme was not a Jedi, did not have a lightsaber, and it was not purple.
This is simply my project to create an alternative storyline for the Prequels, most likely in webcomic or comic book format... In that universe Padme does have a purple lightsaber

"I met your father once when I was just a boy, he was a
great pilot. You'll do all right. If you've got half of your father's
skill, you'll do better than all right."

This line, delivered by Red Leader just before the Battle of Yavin, has since been cut from Episode IV because it didn't make a whole lot of sense with the Prequels in mind.

So aside from that cut moment... What do we have in the Original Trilogy that needed to be linked directly in Prequels? I ask this because the current plan is to link the "WWPLP?" universe with the Originals... Though reaching those links in ways often unlike the real Prequels.

So what needs to be linked?

Here's what I've come up with...

Anakin becomes Darth Vader

The Empire takes over

Luke and Leia are born via Vader
Luke ends up on Tatooine
Leia ends up on Alderaan and becomes a senator

C-3PO's mind is, aparently, wiped.

Obi-Wan "Should not have come back" according to Vader and he left Obi-Wan when Anakin was "the learner".

The Jedi become "all but extinct"

Obi-Wan and Anakin fought in the Clone Wars. Obi-Wan served with Leia's adopted father.

Obi-Wan takes on the name "Ben" and ends up on Tatooine.

Owen, according to Obi-Wan, felt that Anakin should have "Stayed here and not gotten involved"

Obi-Wan obtains Anakin's lightsaber (theoretically it's his anyway). Anakin, perhaps only from Obi-Wan's point of view, wanted Luke to have it when he was old enough.

Leia has memories of her mother, these could be memories of her adopted mother, but that is highly unlikely... Luke has no memories at all.

Yoda trained Obi-Wan at some time.

Anakin is (From Obi-Wan's POV)...
The best starpilot in the galaxy
a cunning warrior
a good friend

Yoda trained Jedi for 800 years before ending up on Dagobah.

The Senate remains in service, though likely with no power.

Han solo learns to shoot first (In the Special Edition of the Prequels he spends that day playing holochess instead)

Just so I don't feel like this is an entry void of real content we also have my first pathetic attempt to transfer a film character (that wasn't featured in Clone Wars) to the Clone Wars style... It's hard to seperate the neck from the chin when you go that dark and if I go any lighter it isn't Maul
