Just a quick thought today.
A Long Time Ago, in a Galaxy Far Far Away the Star Wars Prequels didn't exist.
So us old-timers had only Alec Guinness' portrayal of Obi-Wan to go on. I didn't even think about his until just now, but back then "Ben Kenobi" was used more often than "Obi-Wan Kenobi" or at least, interchangeably.
So now with 6 more hours of Ewan McGregor being referred to exclusively as Obi-Wan do you personally find yourself referring to our Jedi friend as "Ben" at all anymore?
I do, but not nearly as often as I used to
"I haven't gone by the name Ben since oh, before Episode 1 came out."
Addition: Comparison between how many times he's called Ben vs. Obi-Wan
Episode IV:
14 Lines have him called "Obi-Wan"
9 have him called "Ben"
Episode V:
7 Lines have him called "Obi-Wan"
8 have him called "Ben"
Episode VI:
4 Lines have him called "Obi-Wan"
2 have him called "Ben"
